This holiday season, The Pete Store was proud to support the U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots program across three locations, Knoxville, Greenville, and Baltimore, working alongside customers, partners, and local organizations to help bring joy to children and families in our communities.

Thanks to the generosity of so many, these events made a meaningful impact throughout each region.

Knoxville, TN — A Community-Wide Effort

Our Knoxville Toys for Tots event truly showcased the power of collaboration within the trucking and transportation community.

The Tennessee Trucking Association (TTA) donated $10,000 in support of the Haulin’ for the Holidays campaign, while additional toy purchases and donations from The Pete Store team totaled several thousand dollars.

Industry partners stepped up in a big way:

• Thermo King of Knoxville contributed several hundred dollars’ worth of toys.
• Claiborne Hauling and its employees donated over $500 in toys.
• Pemberton made a significant contribution to the TTA Haulin’ for the Holidays campaign and donated a 53-foot trailer.
• Knoxville Towing & Recovery, along with other local towing companies, donated toys and helped secure the Knoxville Expo Center as the staging location for the annual truck parade.

Thanks to the combined generosity of all participating partners, the 53-foot trailer was halfway filled with toys, resulting in approximately $13,000 of toys and donations collected for children and families across the region.

Baltimore, MD — Growing the Tradition

For the second year in a row, The Pete Store Baltimore partnered with Steve Laster and Chesapeake Landscape Materials in support of the U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots program.

Steve and his team have now donated over 20,000 toys since becoming involved in the cause, making a lasting impact in the community. We are also grateful to the employees and customers whose continued support helped make this effort another success.

A special thank-you goes to our PacLease team, who donated a box truck to collect toys throughout the surrounding area—helping expand the reach of the program.

We look forward to growing this partnership and continuing to support Toys for Tots every year.

Greenville, SC — Supporting Our Local Community

The Pete Store Greenville focused its Toys for Tots efforts on Union County, donating approximately $1,000–1,500 worth of toys to support local families in need.

Toys were delivered to the drop site at Tabernacle Baptist Church on December 10th, ensuring the donations reached children throughout the community just in time for the holidays.
