Overview
This 2026 Peterbilt 567 conventional day cab is configured as a tri-axle construction dump truck, spec'd for construction materials hauling in on/off-highway dump service. The chassis is set up for an end dump body 198" long and 120" high, rated for a 5,000 lb max laden weight.

Engine & Drivetrain
Powered by a Cummins X15 engine rated at 450 HP with 1,650 lb-ft of torque at 950 RPM, governed at 2,000 RPM, built to 2024-emissions Prod Series standards. Paired with an Allison 4500 RDS-P Rugged Duty Series automatic transmission in a Generation 6, 6-speed configuration with a dash-mounted push-button shifter, TC-531 torque converter, neutral-at-stop logic, and auto-neutral activation with the parking brake. Driveline consists of an RPL20 interaxle driveline and an RPL25 SD driveline with one midship bearing, plus a dash-mounted single-acting electric-over-hydraulic PTO control and a park brake interlock for the transmission-mounted PTO. Equipped with a Jacobs engine compression brake, a PACCAR 160-amp brushed alternator, a PACCAR premium starter, three PACCAR premium 12V dual-purpose batteries (2,190 CCA), a 110–120V immersion-type block heater, a 2-speed fan clutch for frequent start/stop cycles, an 18.7 CFM aspirated air compressor, a high-efficiency cooling system, dual self-cleaning under-hood pre-cleaners, a firewall-mounted air cleaner, a single right-hand exhaust outlet with an under-cab DPF/SCR module, and chrome 18" standpipes with curved tips. Set up for a typical operating speed of 62 MPH with the idle shutdown timer disabled for frequent start-and-stop duty. Rear axle ratio is 4.30.

Chassis & Axles
Front axle is a PACCAR FX-20 steer axle rated 20,000 lbs with a 4" drop, taper leaf springs and shocks, PACCAR FX wide track, greasable front spring pins, and 80mm front spring spacer blocks. Steering is handled by a Sheppard HD94 dual-gear power steering unit with a frame-mounted, cooled reservoir. Front brakes are Bendix air disc ADB22X with PHP10 iron Preset+ hubs and Tenneco shocks.

Rear axle is a Meritor RT46-164E rated 46,000 lbs (5/8" wall) with PHP10 aluminum Preset+ hubs, Bendix air disc ADB22X rear brakes, and a differential lock on the tandem axles with speed interlock. A Watson-Chalin SL13 self-steering pusher axle rated 13,500 lbs is spaced 49" from the centerline of the forward drive axle (includes one air tank), with PHP10 iron Preset+ hubs and cast drums, a lift axle regulator/gauge at the driver's seat with a switch and gauge in the dash, and the stowed lift-axle position set low to maximize body clearance.

GAWR: front 20,000 lbs, first intermediate (pusher) 12,350 lbs, second intermediate/rear 23,000 lbs. GVWR is 78,350 lbs, with a front axle load of 20,000 lbs, rear axle load of 46,000 lbs, and GCW of 80,000 lbs. Wheelbase is 232", with a 90.10" front-axle-to-back-of-cab measurement, 141.90" cab-to-axle, and 196.90" cab-to-end-of-frame. Maximum grade rating is 6%. Frame consists of 10-3/4" steel rails to 354" length at 3/8" thickness with a full steel inner liner, HD iron front spring brackets forward and rear, aluminum frame rail crossmembers, a square end-of-frame without crossmember, and (2) Holland TH-10050 tow hooks at the EOF. Also equipped with 6S6M ABS, a tire pressure monitoring system, synthetic axle lubricant on all axles, an SBM valve, and a pneumatic park brake.

Suspension
Hendrickson HMX EX 460 rear suspension rated 46,000 lbs with a 54" spread, HAULMAAX and a 70K creep rating, plus matched shock absorbers.

Cab & Interior
121" BBC aluminum day cab with a Metton hood, stainless steel crown and grille with tilt assist, and no sleeper. Includes a thermal insulation package, cab air suspension, and 4.5"-wide rubber fender lips. Interior is Prestige trim in Sterling Gray, with a Peterbilt LX premium driver seat (air ride, high-back, Mordura fabric) and a Peterbilt ST non-adjustable high-back passenger seat (Mordura fabric), black seat color, driver/passenger armrests, and a toolbox under the passenger seat. Features a multi-function steering wheel with PB logo, audio, and cruise controls on a tilt/telescoping column; vanity mirrors on the inside sunvisors and a stainless steel outside sunvisor; a one-piece curved windshield and fixed 1-piece glass rear cab window; power door locks and power windows; and a combination fresh-air heater/air conditioner with an additional fine-particulate HVAC filter. Motorized, heated Peterbilt aero mirrors with integrated convex lenses in body-color housings, plus a look-down mirror over the passenger door. Electric windshield wipers with an intermittent feature. Audio setup includes a ConcertClass AM/FM/weatherband radio with 3.5mm aux input, a standard 2-speaker package, Bluetooth phone/audio, a USB port, and a Uniden PC78LTX CB radio mounted center-header with a low-mount antenna on the LH cowl. Global telematics hardware is installed with wiring provisions for factory- or field-installed telematics (J1939, power, and ground connections), and a 5-year SmartLinq Remote Diagnostics subscription is included for the Cummins engine. The 15" digital main instrument cluster displays engine oil temperature, transmission oil temperature, air filter restriction pressure, brake application air pressure, engine hourmeter, engine PTO hourmeter, turbo boost pressure, engine percent torque, and pusher axle pressure. Also equipped with an ABS off-road switch, (2) additional dash switches, an NFPA-compliant exterior cab entry grabhandle, a rear wall map pocket, auto-reset circuit protection, a triangle reflector kit, a fire extinguisher mounted inboard of the driver's seat, and a 107 dB backup alarm.

Body & Equipment
Chassis is spec'd for an end dump body, 198" long and 120" high, rated for a 5,000 lb max laden weight, intended for construction materials hauling in on/off-highway dump service (operating area restrictions of 40 ft length, 102" width, and 13.5 ft height). Body connections are set at 5' BOC with an AE 7-way socket connection at the EOF, strapped to the rail. Finished with a tapered chrome steel bumper (2 tow points) and a heavy-duty external tow eye. Lighting includes projector-module headlights with fender-mounted turn signals, (5) aero LED marker lights, daytime running lights, self-canceling turn signals, flange-mounted LED stop/turn/tail/backup lights, a moveable EOF crossmember for taillight mounting, and switch/wiring provisions for a field-installed beacon or strobe. Fuel and DEF setup includes a 26" aluminum 120-gallon fuel tank mounted LH under cab with a non-slip step and fuel cooler, and a DEF tank mounted LH BOC with a polished stainless steel cover (no RH-side fuel tank furnished). An aluminum space-saver battery box is mounted RH BOC with side access, alongside a non-slip aluminum cab entry step. Cab, hood, hood top, cab roof, and fenders are finished in a single-color Axalta two-stage white paint, with a black frame.

Front: Bridgestone 20-ply 315/80R22.5 M870 tires on Accuride 41012SP 22.5x9.00 aluminum wheels (standard polish, 3.12" inset). Rear tandem (8 tires): Bridgestone 14-ply 11R22.5 M713 Ecopia tires on Accuride 40008SP 22.5x8.25 aluminum wheels (standard polish). Self-steering pusher axle: Bridgestone 14-ply 295/75R22.5 R273 Ecopia tires on (2) Accuride 40008SP 22.5x8.25 aluminum wheels (standard polish).
