Overview This Peterbilt 536 is configured as a service truck, built around an Auto Crane Titan 60 11' service body with an HC-12S Nexstar crane for utility and field service work.

Engine & Drivetrain Powered by a PACCAR PX-7 engine rated 300 HP at 2,600 RPM (governed at 2,600 RPM) with 660 lb-ft of torque at 1,600 RPM, built to 2024 emissions performance standards. Paired with a PACCAR TX-8 8AP660 automatic transmission, 8-speed, with PTO provision and no cooler. Equipped with a 1710 HD driveline with one midship bearing, column-mounted shifter (RH side), and a TP650N torque converter. Remote PTO/throttle provision (12-pin, 250K, BOC/BOS, J1939) with a dash-mounted single-acting electric-over-air PTO control and park brake interlock for the transmission-mounted PTO; PTO furnished by Muncie, with LH-mounted trans PTO provisions. Typical operating speed set at 75 MPH. PACCAR 160-amp brushed alternator, PACCAR 12V starter, three PACCAR AGM 12V batteries (2,775 CCA) mounted in an in-cab battery box, immersion-type block heater (110-120V), and a low voltage disconnect system. Horton on/off fan clutch, 18.7 CFM air compressor, VGT exhaust brake, PACCAR fuel/water separator (standard service interval), engine protection shutdown with label, and a high-efficiency cooling system. Single RH SOC exhaust with under-cab DPF/SCR (single module), curved-tip standpipe, and a 36" tall, 5" diameter chrome standpipe with clear coat.

Chassis & Axles Peterbilt Model 536 medium-duty chassis, Class 6 rated at 26,000 lb GVWR (GAWR: 10,000 lb front / 21,000 lb rear), with a 158" wheelbase, 6% maximum grade rating, and a GCW of 26,000 lbs. Frame consists of 10-5/8" steel rails to 285" length at 5/16" thickness with zinc-coated anti-corrosion treatment, a heavy-duty 5-piece BOC crossmember, custom wheelbase/overhang, and a square end-of-frame configuration for body-builder-installed crossmember (rear mudflaps/hangers omitted). Front axle is a Hendrickson Steertek NXT rated 10,000 lbs with 3.32" drop, mono-leaf springs and shocks, Sheppard HD94 power steering with frame-mounted reservoir, PHP10 aluminum preset-plus hubs with air disc brakes, greasable spring pins, Hendrickson wide track, and dust shields. Rear axle is a Meritor RS21-160 rated 21,000 lbs with a 5.13 ratio, PHP10 aluminum preset-plus hubs, air disc brakes with dust shields, differential lock with speed interlock, synthetic axle lubricant, ABS (4S4M), and an SBM valve.

Suspension Neway ADZ123 single-drive rear air suspension rated 23,000 lbs, 10" ride height, with a dual leveling valve and a dash-mounted dump switch with suspension indicator light.

Cab & Interior Peterbilt Aero 109" BBC hood (SMC) with molded charcoal crown and aluminum cab, bright-finish hood crown, and thermal insulation package. ProBilt interior in charcoal gray with a curved roof. Sears premium driver seat (heated, air ride, high-back) and Sears passenger seat (high-back), both with seat skirts, plus driver and passenger armrests; battery box mounted under the passenger seat. Adjustable tilt/telescoping steering column with a Peterbilt-logo steering wheel. One-piece curved windshield, 3-piece fixed glass rear cab window, day cab rear window configuration, power door locks and power windows, and cab air suspension with auto-reset circuit protection. Combo fresh-air heater/air conditioner, floor-mounted cup holder, stainless steel outside sunvisor, and an internal bugscreen on the aero hood. Bright-finish aero mirror housings with a motorized, heated Peterbilt aero mirror featuring an integrated convex lens, plus a black-housing look-down mirror over the passenger door. Under-cab-mounted air horn. Audio package includes ConcertClass AM/FM with weatherband and 3.5mm aux input, satellite radio, Bluetooth phone/audio, USB port, and a standard 2-speaker package (radio mutes when the transmission is in reverse). SmartLinq remote diagnostics with a 5-year subscription. Electric windshield wipers with intermittent feature, and an exterior textured cab entry grab handle (NFPA compliant), plus an aluminum non-slip cab entry step at the aftertreatment location. Instrumentation includes a digital 7" main cluster display, drive axle #1 front oil temp gauge, air suspension pressure gauge, fuel filter restriction gauge, manifold pressure gauge, air restriction indicator, dual-scale speedometer (MPH over KPH), and two additional dash switches at BOC/BOS. Composite fender-mounted headlights with integral DRL/park/turn/side marker, five chrome-housing aero LED marker lights, self-canceling turn signal, and headlamps that activate with the wipers. Additional wiring/switch provisions for auxiliary lighting and a beacon/strobe, LED stop/turn/tail/backup lighting on a movable EOF crossmember, and a fire extinguisher mounted outboard of the driver seat, triangle reflector kit, and 107 dB backup alarm. Chromed, tapered steel front bumper with two tow points.

Body & Equipment Auto Crane Titan 60 11' service body, 58" tall, with a recessed RSC bulkhead. Finished in Titan Armor top-coat paint, white outside, with spray-on bed liner covering the bed area, top, bumper, and front of body. LED interior light strips with compartment light installation, and an installed Master Lock. Fully adjustable shelving installed throughout, LSF toolbox configuration with (5) 3", (2) 5", and (2) 7" compartments (front tall), and an RSF oxy-acetylene section with divider/adjustable shelving plus a 2" tall drop well. Exterior features a hydraulic single-slide outrigger (right side crane), a 30" drop-down-door bumper assembly with an installed 30" receiver hitch, 7-way spade trailer wiring, a 33" tall light bar assembly, and square LED flood lights (1,600 lumens) with installation. Equipped with power-on-demand and underbody lighting, plus an E-Trax system. Includes an ICC safety kit, Class A fire extinguisher, and an installed backup safety alarm. Hydraulics include an automatic PTO/pump, spring reinforcement, a 36-gallon bulkhead reservoir assembly, and a hose kit rated to 4,000 PSI (paired with the AC30A compressor and 36-gallon reservoir). Titan Connect T38 telematics kit installed, with an additional in-cab keypad and a double-socket-arm ram mount. Installed air compressor and air tank complete the hydraulic/pneumatic package, with a full body installation kit for Class 6-and-above chassis.

Crane: HC-12S Nexstar crane with a docking station and remote reminder chime installed in the crane compartment, square boom tip lights (EHC6-HC12 range), and a standard boom support with base plate assembly.

Compressor: AC 40 compressor with an installed mounting bracket, air filter/lubricator/regulator, a rear-exit hose reel, and a 30-gallon air receiver kit (AC-30A/RS60), mounted underbody.

Tires & Wheels Front: 14-ply 295/75R22.5 Continental HSL3 tires on Peterbilt 88U677 22.5x8.25 high-polish aluminum wheels, with mirror-polish outer wheel surface and Dura-Bright finish.
